It is also introducing a camera effect to help spread kindness in Stories. Google has quietly introduced its third-generation Chromecast after the Pixel event. It still has a circular design with built-in HDMI cable and it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5Ghz) support, however the Wi-Fi reception has been improved with maximum antenna gain of 4dBi compared to Chromecast 2’s 2.1dBi gain, which is about 50% improvement.
Xiaomi just announced Mi Box S, its latest 4K box powered by Android TV. This is the successor of Mi Box that was introduced in the US back in 2016. It runs Android TV 8.1, comes with voice remote with Netflix shortcut, Assistant button, app shortcut and supports Google Assistant for easy voice search, and has built-in Chromecast.
