JioFiber plans revealed — 100 Mbps plan at Rs. 699 with free voice calls across India, TV video calling, Gaming and more

Realiance Jio just announced the launched of JioFiber, its Fiber to the Home service, across 1,600 cities in India, as it has promised last month. As it had announced earlier, plans start from 100 Mbps and go all the way up to 1 Gbps and are priced between Rs. 699 and Rs. 8499 (GST additional on all plans, as applicable). Additional benefits which will be included with all the plans include free voice calling all over India, TV video calling, latency-free Gaming, and Device Security with Norton Device secure for up to five devices for an entire year. Every user will get a Set Top Box even with monthly plan. Jio says that users will have to pay Rs. 2500 (includes Rs. 1500 security deposit and Rs. 1000 non-refundable installation charges.).

Sony Xperia 5 with 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED HDR CinemaWide 21:9 display, Snapdragon 855, Triple rear cameras announced

Sony Mobile just announced Xperia 5, the company’s latest smartphone at the IFA 2019, as expected. It has 6.1-inch 21:9 CinemaWide FHD+ HDR display offering bright colors with BRAVIA X1 for mobile. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 6GB of RAM and runs Android Pie.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Camera Samples

Xiaomi launched the Mi A3, the company’s latest Android One smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 12,999. We already brought you the unboxing and first impressions, here we have the camera samples from the phone. The phone packs a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, f/1.75 aperture, 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens has support for PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide sensor with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and an 2-megapixel depth sensor with 1.75μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture.

Realme Q with 6.3-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 712, up to 8GB RAM, quad rear cameras announced

Relme just introduced the realme Q smartphone in China, as it had promised. This is same as the Realme 5 Pro which was launched in India recently at Rs. 13999, Rs. 14999 and Rs. 16999, for 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB versions, respectively.

Nubia Red Magic 3S with 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED 90Hz display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM, active liquid-cooling announced

ZTE’s Nubia brand just introduced Nubia Red Magic 3s, the company’s latest gaming smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has the same 6.65-inch FHD+ HDR AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate, HDR support, but this is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB of RAM and features UFS 3.0 storage. It also retains active cooling system that uses liquid cooling technology along with an internal turbo fan with upgraded air inlet, making active cooling more efficient to dramatically improving thermal performance.

Realme XT with 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 64MP quad rear cameras, in-display fingerprint scanner launching in India on September 13

Realme has finally confirmed that it will launch the realme XT smartphone in India on September 13th on Flipkart. The company also confirmed that it will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be the first phone in India with 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. It has a 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture are same. The phone also has AI scene recognition, Chrome boost, Super nightscape and Expert mode. There is also EIS support for video.

Lenovo has launched Z6 Pro, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the Z series in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with ultra narrow bezels, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB of RAM, liquid cooling with 5mm reinforced copper tube and larger heat dissipation area, and comes with quad rear cameras that includes a 48-megapixel main sensor with Quad Pixel technology for better low-light images, 16MP 125 ° ultra-wide-angle camera, 8MP telephoto sensor for 4x optical zoom, and a 2MP camera for videos, all with 4K video support. It offers 2.39cm super macro photography and the new hyper video uses OIS, six-axis gyroscope, ToF and PDAF offer multi-anti-shake solution based on AI optimization for smoother videos even when moving, targeted at vloggers. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front.

Lenovo has launched K10 Note, the latest smartphone in the ‘K Series’ in India, as it had promised. It was introduced in China back in May this year as Z6 Lite and packs a 6.39-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with 93.07% screen to body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 710 with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie and comes with triple rear cameras that includes a 16-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 8x hybrid zoom and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front.

Samsung Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone finally starts rolling out

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event back in February and said that it will go on sale in April. But it didn’t happen since people who reviewed the device reported issues with the screen and the body. Later in July the company announced that it will roll out the foldable device in September after making improvements to the design and construction. Today it has confirmed the roll out of the Galaxy Fold in Korea from tomorrow, followed by France and Germany, Singapore, U.K. and U.S. It will be available both in 5G and LTE models.

Android 10 based MIUI 10 — New Features and First look on Redmi K20 Pro

Last month, Google revealed that next release of Android will be called Android 10 instead of Android Q and it won’t be named based on any dessert, and unveiled new brand logo and color for the Android. This morning, Android 10 update started rolling out to Pixel series of devices and Essential phone. Xiaomi also started rolling out Android 10 based MIUI 10 update for the Redmi K20 Pro in India and China but it was rolled out only to Beta testers that company recently recruited.

HONOR MagicBook Pro 2019 Ryzen Edition with 16.1-inch FHD display, slim metal body announced

Honor MagicBook Pro 2019, successor of last year’s MagicBook was introduced back in July along with the HONOR 9X series, today the company has introduced new Ryzen version of the laptop with Vega 8 Graphics. Other features including a 16.1-inch Full HD display with 4.9mm narrow bezels and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%, 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD are similar.

HONOR Play 3 with 6.39-inch display, up to 6GB RAM, triple rear cameras announced

HONOR, in addition to HONOR 20S, also introduced the HONOR Play 3 smartphone in China. It has a 6.39-inch HD+ punch hole screen with an 8-megapixel camera inside the 4.5mm small hole and minimal bezels for up to 90% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by Kirin 710F Soc with up to 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with EMUI on top and has a 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth of field lens. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor and comes only with face unlock. It has a gradient back and packs a 4000mAh battery.
