Sony announced the Smartwatch 3 SWR50 in September this year. The company’s first smartwatch that runs on Android Wear landed on the U.S. Google Play Store last month for $249.99. It has a 1.6-inch (320 x 320 pixels) TFT LCD capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Vodafone could be set to increase the convergence of communications providers in the EU with a blockbuster takeover of Virgin Media owner Liberty Global in a deal worth a reported £80 billion.
