Nokia Software Updater Gets Updated to V1.6.11

The Nokia Software Updater today got updated to V1.6.11, though any changelog is officially not yet out but there were no changes to the UI to suggest a major update.

Yes, that’s right, Airtel to Airtel STD calls under the H-17 CUG Plan will now cost you 50 paisa per minute and National SMS 30 paisa at a monthly rental of Rs. 199 only. Microsoft My Phone Service Now Available to the Public

Remember our recent post about Microsoft My Phone? I personally recorded a video demo to demonstrate the working of Microsoft’s latest data syncing service – Microsoft My Phone.

But at that point of time, My Phone was invite only . But, now Microsoft have made My Phone service available to the general public so that any one without an invite code can use if for free.

MTNL Strike affects consumers in Delhi

Over 8,000 employees of the state-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) were on strike for the second consecutive day Tuesday, affecting  consumers of telephone and internet services in Delhi. No word if the mobile connections were affected.

Mobile Number Portability Launch Date Announced

Another much hyped and talked about term in the Indian mobile industry is Mobile Number Portability (MNP) using which a mobile customer can migrate to various other operators retaining his existing number.

Earlier it was reported that MNP implementation is on its way to India. But recently the regulatory agencies have come up with the exact launch date for MNP services in various parts of India.
