Tokyo, Japan – Sony Corp has announced the Sony Tablet and has shown off 2 devices the S1 and S2 which are Android Honeycomb tablets. The S1 is a tablet aimed at rich media entertainment while the S2 is aimed at mobile communication and entertainment. Bear in mind that these devices are just codenames and we will know the real names once the company launches them in Fall 2011.

The Nokia C2-06 which was leaked last week might be real as Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has announced that a Dual-SIM device – C2 will be released during Q2. Looks like Nokia is going to take the market more seriously by introducing more such devices through out the year. This was part of the announcement about the Nokia-Microsoft partnership.

The folks from Vietnamese site Tinhte.vn are back with a video showing an unreleased version of iOs running on a White iPhone with 64GB of internal memory. As you can see in the picture above , the video shows a new Multi-tasking UI with tiles of thumbnails of the currently open apps. The folks from Hackintosh India have got their hands on the Nokia C2-06 which is a Dual SIM Touch and Type phone. While the exterior of the phone mentions only C0-00 like most Nokia prototypes , the bluetooth menu reveals the name of the device as the C2-06. Korean Electronics giant Samsung held it’s first Southwest Asia Regional Forum at New Delhi today. The company launched LED TVs , Bluray players, Monitors, Cameras, Home appliances and Mobile Devices too. Since we are most interested in this aspect, let’s take a look at what Sammy showcased today. The Galaxy S2 along with the Galaxy Tab 8.9,10.1 were shown off. Also a bunch of android handsets – Galaxy Fit, Ace, Pop, Pro were on display. The good news is that the Galaxy S2 is coming to India next month for around Rs.35k. The company did not reveal the pricing of the tabs. We also got hold of the spec sheets of the Galaxy S2 , Tab 8.9 and 10.1 which are embedded below.
