Last year Reliance Jio started testing JioFiber. When it reported earnings last month, it said that it started roll-out of its Fibre to the Home (FTTH) business by offering beta trials in a few locations. It also said that it will expand the scope of the beta trials over the next few months. There were some reports recently that said Jio has started JioFiber trials in Chennai, Mumbai and other cities. Asus introduced Zenfone 3 Zoom with 12-megapixel rear camera with 25mm wide angle lens, f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX362 sensor with 1.4μm pixel size along with a 56mm telephoto lens, along with a secondary 12-megapixel camera that offers 12x zoom and 2.3x optical zoom at the  CES 2017 earlier this year. Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 with X12 LTE modem, Bluetooth 5, Quick Charge 4 announced

Qualcomm just announced Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 high-end Mobile Platforms, successors of last year’s Snapdragon 653 and Snapdragon 626. The Snapdragon 660 is the first processor in the lineup to come with Kryo CPU that promises 20% better performance compared to Snapdragon 653. It also has new Adreno 512 GPU that offers 30% better performance compared to Adreno 510 and the new Adreno 508 GPU on the Snapdragon 630 offers 30% better performance compared to 506. The Snapdragon 630 uses the same Cortex A53 CPUs, but its arranged in performance and efficiency cluster arrangement. nubia M2 Lite, the company’s latest smartphone in the latest ‘M2 Series’ has been launched in India, couple of months after its was introduced in China. It has a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with nubia UI 4.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with ISOCELL CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 79.8-degree wide-angle lens and a soft LED flash. It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. Moto Z2 Play specifications surface – 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 626, 4GB RAM

Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced a few weeks back showing off its metal design, fingerprint sensor on the front and dual-tone LED flash for the front camera. Thanks to @evleaks, we now have the specifications of the phone. According to the leak, the phone is expected to pack the same 5.5-inch 1080p display, but the battery will be reduced from 3510mAh to 3000mAh, which is a bummer since the battery life on the Moto G5 Plus with the same display size and battery is not impressive when compared to the Z Play.
