Lenovo Smart Band HW01 with OLED display, heart rate sensor launched in India for Rs. 1999

Lenovo Smart Band HW01

Lenovo has launched Smart Band HW01 , its first smart band in India. It has a 0.91-inch OLED display that shows time, steps and also heart rate. It has real time heart rate monitoring in Sports Mode, where the band automatically detects your heart rate every 15 minutes. It also vibrates when your heart reaches the designated threshold.

In addition to fitness and steps tracking, it also tracks your sleep and also has anti-sleep mode that automatically wakes you up in case you tend to fall asleep outside of your designated sleep timing. “This mode alerts you of concentration loss or dozing while driving or working at night,” say Lenovo.

It is water resistant with IP65 ratings, comes with a skin-friendly silicone strap that has a stainless steel buckle. It supports both Android and iOS, lets you share your fitness data on social accounts like Facebook and Twitter, and also supports Apple HealthKit and Google Fit. It vibrates whenever  you receive a call, message, email, Whatsapp or Facebook notification when it is connected to a smartphone.

Even though this directly competes with Xiaomi Mi Band 2, this promises only 5 days of battery life compared to 20 days of battery life on Mi Band 2.
