Zync promised that they would launch dual-core and quad-core tablets last month, now the company has finally launched Dual 7.0, Quad 8.0 and Quad 9.7 tablets running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Zync Dual 7.0 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and both the Quad 8.0 and Quad 9.7 tablets are powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processors. The Zync Dual 7.0 has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) 5 point multi-touch display, Zync Quad 8.0 has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 10 point multi-touch display and the Quad 9.7 comes with a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) LED-backlit Super HD IPS 10 point multi-touch retina display. Chrome Beta for Android updated with data compression, password and autofill Sync

Google has updated the Chrome Beta browser app to version 26.0.1410.26 that brings new features including Password and Autofill Sync that lets you sync data from the Chrome browser on your desktop to your Android smartphones and tablets. The Password sync would let you sync passwords easily, and the autofill option lets you fill out forms on a small screen. This version also brings experimental data compression feature based on SPDY proxy running on Google servers. The Google Chrome compression feature was rumored earlier this week. Sony Xperia ZL launched in India

Sony has launched the Xperia ZL along with the Xperia Z in India. It was announced at the CES 2013 earlier this year.The Xperia ZL is slightly thicker than the Xperia Z at 9.8 mm, weighs 151 grams. Other features are similar to the Xperia Z including a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Reality display with mobile Bravia Engine 2 at 443 ppi, 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Sony Xperia Tablet Z launching in India in May


Sony launched the Xperia Z in India today, and at the launch event the company announced that the Xperia Tablet Z would go on sale in India in May 2013. The Xperia Tablet Z was originally announced in Japan earlier this year, at the MWC 2013 the company announced that it would roll out globally from Q2 2013. Sony Xperia Z launched in India for Rs. 38990

Sony Mobile has launched the Xperia Z, their latest flagship device in India. It was announced at CES 2013 earlier this year, and appeared on Sony India website last month. Sony announced the Xperia Z launch date in India last week, and the Xperia ZL also launched along with the Xperia Z. Price of both the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL were already revealed online. The Xperia Z has a OmniBalance design with rounded edges and smooth, reflective surfaces on all sides. Imangi Studios released the Temple Run: Brave in partnership with Disney/Pixar last June. Now the two companies have partnered once again to bring Temple Run: Oz based on the Temple Run 2 and inspired by Oz the Great and Powerful movie that is releasing in cinemas this week. This game would let you Play as Oz and outrun the shrieking flying baboons as you turn, jump and slide your way across the land. Idea cellular has launched Zeal, their new Dual SIM Android smartphone with 3G support in affordable price range. It has 3.5 inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 ( Gingerbread) similar to the Idea Aurus that was launched last year. This phone is aimed at 3G data users in semi-urban and rural markets. It is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and comes with Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support. Opera 14 beta for Android with new UI and WebKit engine released

Opera has finally released a beta version of their mobile browser for Android based on WebKit rendering engine. Opera already announced that they would move from Presto engine to WebKit engine that is being used widely, and this is their first release with the WebKit engine (AppleWebKit/537.22 and Chrome/25.0.1364.123) onboard. The new version also brings completely revamped UI, Off-Road mode, Opera Mini compression built-in, Omnibar with combined search and URL field and lots more. LG launches Optimus G Pro Quick Cover case

LG has released new Quick Cover case for the Optimus G in Korea. They come in 7 colors, including 5 shiny variants and two patterned variants. The Quick Cover case has a semiconductor device mounted on a magnetic substance on the cover, that makes the screen turn off immediately when closed, and wake up immediately when opened. Twitter to shut down TweetDeck for Android and iPhone


Twitter has announced that they would shut down TweetDeck mobile apps for Android and iPhone. Twitter stopped development of these apps when it acquired TweetDeck, and concentrated more on the official Twitter apps for Android, iPhone and iPad. Twitter for Android and iPhone got a new UI back in December 2011, and the latest update brought improved Search and Discover features. Samsung Galaxy S4 new renders surface, reveals design and specs

Samsung Galaxy S4 specifications surfaced last month along with an image, but the phone’s image was not clear to show the complete design. Now a new render has surfaced on twitter that shows the design of the Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy smartphone. Unlike the previous Galaxy S series smartphones, this doesn’t feature the home button or capacitive touch buttons below the display. Looks like Samsung would go the Nexus way finally. Lava recently launched Blockbuster Phoneday initiative, in which the company launches a product every Friday. Last week they launched the Iris 502, that already went on sale couple of weeks back. The Iris 430 packs a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad WS708C, their first Android Tablet with Dual SIM support. It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with voice calling support and 3G connectivity through an external dongle. The HCL ME Y3 tablet that was launched in India earlier this year also has dual SIM support. The Croods by Rovio coming to Android, iPhone and iPad on March 14th

Rovio, the creator of the popular Angry Birds has partnered with DreamWorks Animation to launch their new game called The Croods. Rovio released the Angry Birds Rio in partnership for the Fox Digtal Entertaiment back in March 2011. Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots, a movie tie-up game in partnership with DreamWorks was released for iPhone was released back in 2011. Bad Piggies is Rovio’s latest game, after  their totally different puzzle game Amazing Alex.
