Xiaomi under its Redmi brand launched its Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in India last week starting at Rs. 9999 and Rs. 14999, respectively. These phones went on sale for the first time yesterday, October 21st, and were sold out in minutes. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone in India last week starting at Rs. 14,999. The phone packs quad rear cameras, that includes a main 64-megapixel primary rear camera with single LED Flash, 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 ISOCELL sensor with Smart ISO and ISOCELL Plus technology, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, has support for PDAF, EIS along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera with 120° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait as well as 2-megapixel camera for 2cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size and f/2.4 aperture. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with HDR support, 2.05mm narrow top frame, 1.8mm narrow left and right borders and 4.2mm bottom border offering 91.4% screen-to-body ratio and has TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. It the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and is the first phone in the price range to feature liquid cooling that will reduce the temperature of the phone by 4 to 6 degrees.
