Xiaomi just launched its Mi TV Stick, the company’s first streaming stick in India, as it had announced. This comes after Mi Box 4K that was launched in May. It runs Android TV 9.0 and comes with built-in Chromecast that lets you stream 1080p content. It also comes with Mi Voice Remote with Netflix and Prime video shortcuts and Assistant button for easy voice search. Since it comes with Google Play, you can download apps and games easily. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD water-drop, MediaTek Helio G80 8nm SoC, 13-megapixel primary rear AI camera, 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens, 5-megapixel 4cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. InterDigital, an Indian mobile and video technology research and development company, today announced that they are taking action against Xiaomi for infringing on patents involving cellular and H.265/HEVC Indian patents. InterDigital has stated that they are willing to settle the issue with Xiaomi under the terms of a FRAND license.
