Huawei has launched the MediaPad Honor T1, the company’s latest tablet in the Honor series. It was announced recently as Honor Tablet and packs a 8-inch HD IPS display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI 1.6 on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 3G support via SIM card slot and has voice calling capabilities. Huawei has announced the Honor Tablet, the company’s latest tablet in the Honor series. It has first announced last month in some countries like Russia as MediaPad T1 8.0. Now it’s on pre-order in Malaysia. It has a 8-inch HD IPS display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI 1.6 on top. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and has 3G support via SIM card slot and has voice calling capabilities. Amazon has updated its Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet. It has a that same 8.9-inch ( 2560 x 1600 pixels) display, but now it is powered by a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, instead of Snapdragon 800 on last year’s Fire HDX 8.9. It runs on the new Fire OS 4.0 Sangria based on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with 5P f/2.2 lens and a front-facing 720p HD camera. Amazon has introduced the Fire HD 6 and has also upgraded last year’s Fire HD with a faster processor. The Fire HD 6 and H7 have 6-inch and 7-inch 1280 x 800 pixel displays, faster 1.5 GHz quad-core processors, 2MP rear and a VGA front-facing camera. These run on Fire OS 4 Sangria based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Both these have 1GB of RAM and come in 8GB and 16GB variants. These don’t have LTE support. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400-MP2 GPU and has 1GB RAM. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) multi touch IPS display.
