Huawei already announced that it would launched the Honor X1 tablet in India soon. Today the company launched the tablet in India. It is the same MediaPad X1 tablet that was announced earlier this year at the MWC. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. iBall has launched Slide 3G 6095-D20, the company’s latest budget tablet. It has a 6.95 inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support, 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities. It is 8.9mm thick and has leather-like textured back cover.
Lenovo has introduced new Yoga Tablet 2 models, an upgrade from last year’s Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10. These come in 8-inch and 10-inch variants with Full HD (1920×1200) IPS displays and Android 4.4 or Windows 8.1 options. These are powered by a powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 Processor (up to 1.86 GHz), have unique convertible design and a new Hang mode. Sharp has announced that it will introduce a new 7 inch tablet that will boast two different display technologies. The tablet which will be ready by 2015 will have Sharp’s own energy-efficient IGZO tech, and Qualcomm’s light-reflecting Mirasol project.

Lenovo A8-50, the company’s latest A series tablet is now on sale in India on Flipkart, after the A7-30 and the A7-50 tablets. It was unveiled earlier this year and packs a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, quad-core MediaTek processor and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is upgradable to Android 4.4 (Kitkat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
HP has launched Stream 7 and Stream 8 Windows 8.1 tablets. The 7 inch tablet is priced at $99.99 while the 8 inch tablet will cost $149.99. Both tablets are powered by Intel Atom quad-core processors.
