According to the rumor the thickness of the iPhone 6 would be somewhere between 6.7 and 7.1 mm, and not 6.1mm thick as rumored earlier. Samsung has almost made it a trend of announcing a flagship early in the year and then deriving various other products from it. Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 and then followed it up with a Galaxy S4 mini and a Galaxy S4 Active variant that was water and dust resistant. And from the look of things, it seems that Samsung will continue to follow the trend in 2014.
HTC launched the Butterfly S, successor of the first Butterfly in several countries including India last year. @evleakshas leaked the first press image of the J Butterfly successor codenamed B2. Live image of White colored Moto E (XT1022) showed up few hours back, now the press shots of the phone has surfaced on a brazilian retail site. The image shows the Moto E (XT1025) in black that has built-in digital TV as rumored earlier. Motorola Moto E has been spotted in a live image for the first time, less than a week ahead of launch. Posing next to the Moto G, the Moto E looks a bit smaller, but has larger bezels compared to Moto G. It also has a speaker grill on the bottom and a Motorola logo on the top. Apple plans to launch the iPhone 6, successor of the iPhone 5s in August, a month earlier than expected, according to a report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News (Reuters). This new comes from unidentified supply-chain sources in Taiwan. The report also says that the large-screen iPhone (5.5 or 5.6 inch) would be released in September. More images of the much anticipated LG G3 have surfaced online, that was first posted by GSMarena. The recent images shows a gold version of the flagship phone which is rumored to be the first smartphone to have the latest Snapdragon 805 SoC. Image of a gold LG G3 retail box was already spotted online in April.

Apple is planning to buy Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion, according to a report from the Financial Times. Announced as soon as by next week, the deal will be Apple’s biggest acquisition to this date. The report was further confirmed by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and re/code.

Samsung filed for Samsung Gear Solo and Samsung Gear Now trademarks last month. Samsung Gear 2 Solo (SM-R710) has appeared on India import/export website Zauba. Only one unit of the smartwatch has been imported from Korea to Bangalore for R&D purposes. The price of the smartwatch is mentioned as Rs. 12,292. This listing was first spotted by MakTechBlog.

LG G3 was spotted in live images and press renders recently. Today @evleaks has posted two images of the phone. One image shows the close up of the phone’s back at an angle that looks like brushed metal finish. Images that were leaked recently revealed the phone in white with plastic back. According to @evleaks the back would not attract any fingerprints. It is not clear if the back would have self repairing technology like the G Flex.
