Samsung just announced the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, the company’s latest foldable smartphone and the successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold2 at its Unpacked event, as expected. It features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen on the inside with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Samsung Ultra Thin Glass that’s 80% stronger, and it’s 29% brighter than the Z Fold 2’s display. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display that also has 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone also has a 4MP under display camera on the inside, and there is a 10MP camera for the outside screen. MediaTek today announced the new Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 chipsets as the successor to the Dimensity 900 and Dimesnity 800 SoCs. The Dimensity 920 is built using the 6nm manufacturing node and offers a 9% boost in gaming performance compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 900. It also has Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5GHz compared to 2.4GHz in the predecessor, while retaining other features.
