After rumours, Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of Galaxy F23 5G (SM-E236B), the company’s next F series smartphone and the successor to last year’s Galaxy F22 in India on March 8th. The company also confirmed that it will be the first-ever Galaxy F series phone with a Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and will be powered by Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. India Smart TV market records highest-ever 55% YoY growth in 2021: Report

According to the latest analysis from Counterpoint’s IoT Service, India’s TV sales increased 48% year-on-year in Q4 2021 (December quarter) and 24% year-on-year in 2021. The smart TV market expanded even faster, by 55% year-on-year in 2021 and 65% year-on-year in Q4 2021, to reach its highest-ever calendar year shipments. Mivi, a Hyderabad-based company has launched two new Bluetooth wireless neckband earphones, the Mivi ThunderBeats2 and ConquerX. Priced under Rs. 1000, these are manufactured in India. Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, successor to the Galaxy A32 surfaced in renders a few months back. Now the press images of the smartphone have surfaced that confirms the design that resembles the renders. This shows an Infinity U notch, quad rear cameras and more. Earlier rumours revealed IP67 ratings and 25W charging for the phone. Xiaomi, earlier this month, launched the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India. The Xiaomi 11i series devices boot Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge were launched as the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ back in October in China.

OPPO Reno7 Z 5G with 6.43″ FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695, Dual orbit lights announced

OPPO launched its Reno7 and Reno7 Pro smartphones in India last month. Today it has introduced the Reno7 Z, a cheaper model in Thailand. This has a 6.43-inch AMOLED, but with 60Hz refresh rate compared to 90Hz in the Reno7. It also replaces the Dimensity 900 with Snapdragon 695. There is a 64MP rear camera, and a 2MP macro camera, but the 8MP ultra-wide camera is replaced by a 2MP mono camera for portrait shots. ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED with 13.3″ OLED HDR display, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos launched in India starting at Rs. 45990

ASUS today launched the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, the company’s latest 2-in-1 convertible notebook, which the company says is the world’s first 13.3-inch OLED Windows detachable laptop. It also features the new ASUS Pen 2.0 Stylus, a magnetically detachable full-size keyboard, and a detachable  170° hinge.

realme Buds Q2s with Bluetooth 5.2, Low latency gaming mode, AI ENC, up to 30h total playback announced

realme V25 with 6.6″ FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 695, 12GB RAM, 5000mAh battery announced

realme just announced the V25, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the V series, as it had promised. As rumoured earlier, this has similar specifications as the realme 9 Pro that was launched in India last week, but this replaces the ultra-wide camera with a depth sensor and comes in a single 12GB + 256GB version priced at 1999 yuan (Rs. 23,955 approx. / US$ 316). Qualcomm validates Samsung’s LPDDR5X DRAM for use with Snapdragon SoCs

Samsung today announced that Qualcomm  has validated Samsung’s 14-nanometer (nm) based 14nm-based 16Gb LPDDR5X DRAM for use on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon mobile platforms. The company introduced the LPDDR5X DRAM in November last year, and it promises data processing speeds of up to 8.5 Gbps compared to 6.4Gbps in LPDDR5.
