LG Optimus 2X Gingerbread Update may come in June-July

We are really waiting for the Gingerbread update for the LG Optimus 2X as it might make the world’s first dual core phone a bit faster. LG did promise an update to Android 2.3 for the device which is currently running Android 2.2 FroYo. Now LG Denmark’s support pages for the device has spilled the beans about the release date for the much awaited update.

HTC Sensation with 1.2 GHz Dual Core CPU , 4.3 inch Display is Official

HTC Sensation was just officially launched by the Taiwanese handset maker in an event in London city.The handset was prematurely outed by Vodafone earlier today. The handset packs a 1.2 GHz dual core CPU and a 8 Megapixel camera and a 4.3 inch display . FoneArena’s Jon Choo is at the event and he found the phone to be really fast. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Nokia E6 Price and Availability

Nokia announced the E6 earlier today and it is a successor to the popular E72 handset.You must have seen the photos. The E6 packs a display with a 640×480 pixel resolution in such a small form-factor. It’s still powered by a not so fast  680MHz processor which makes it possible for this handset to quote a 14.8 hour talk time on GSM and 7.5 hours on 3G with almost 30 days of stand by time. The handset also ships with the Symbian Anna update which brings a new UI and other features.

Nokia X7 is not killed , coming soon to 3 UK with the all new Symbian update

HTC’s Market Cap now at $33.8 billion, overtakes Nokia


Leading Android phone maker HTC has crossed the market cap of Nokia ($32.84 billion) and leads with $33.8 billion market share, reports the site All Things D.
