When Nokia announced it’s first Windows Phone at Nokia World couple of months back at London , I seriously did not expect the Nokia Lumia 800 to go on sale in India till 2012. But Nokia India just sold the first set of Lumia 800s to customers who had pre-booked the device at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon near New Delhi last night at 10 p.m. Customers had to pay Rs.29999 for the device.Nokia had roped in Tennis star Sania Mirza to hand over the devices to the customers. Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos, Dual SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Y Pro has been spotted in an image from GSMArena. Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Y Pro few months back which had a 2.6-inch TFT touch screen display and a QWERTY keyboard, 2 MP camera and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos might come with similar display and camera and it would also feature a front facing camera for video calls. Nokia is making a re-entry into the American market with the Lumia 710 for T-Mobile. Nokia and T-Mobile announced plans to launch it’s first Windows Phone in USA on Jan 11 2012.The Lumia 710 started shipping in several countries last week and now there good news for Nokia fans in USA. The Airtel Gifting service would let the customers send and receive talk time and other packs just by dialing *141# from their pre-paid connection. Sony has launched 2 new tablets, Sony Tablet S and Tablet P in India. They unveiled these tablet in Japan in April. The WiFi Version of the Sony Tablet S showed up on Sony India’s official site last month.These tablets have uniquely asymmetric design, Sony Tablet S has a wedge-shape, similar to a magazine that’s been folded over. The Sony Tablet P has dual screen design of provides optimized entertainment experience and portability. LG has launched the Optimus LTE L-01D in Japan. NTT Docomo already announced the LTE device in their NEXT series this October. LG announced the device for Korea this October and it launched earlier this month in US on AT&T as LG Nitro HD. The LG Optimus LTE L-01D comes with a 4.5 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display with 326 PPI and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm snapdragon processor and features an 8MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording and 1.3MP front facing camera.
