Earlier: Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Note Edge smartphone in India in January 2015 at a price tag of Rs. 68,500, according to a report from ET. The report says that it would retail for Rs. 64,900. Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale in India earlier this month for Rs. 8,999. Xiaomi has announced that Redmi Note 4G will go on sale on Flipkart on December 30th, as it promised at the launch. The Redmi Note 4G has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant.
