Xiaomi has sold 40,000 units of Redmi Note 4G smartphones in just 6 seconds in today’s (December 30th) sale in India. This is the first time Xiaomi is selling its Redmi Note 4G smartphone, and over 2 lakh people had registered for the sale. The Redmi Note 4G has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant. Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale in India earlier this month for Rs. 8,999. Xiaomi has announced that Redmi Note 4G will go on sale on Flipkart on December 30th, as it promised at the launch. The Redmi Note 4G has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant.
