Specifications of the Galaxy S8+ surfaced yesterday, revealing most of the specifications of the phone, including Iris scanner and earphones tuned by AKG, now the specifications of Galaxy S8 has surfaced revealing similar specifications except the 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, instead of 6.2-inch QHD+ screen on the Galaxy S8+. ARCHOS has introduced 101 Saphir, its first rugged 2-in-1
tablet with a keyboard targeted at hikers, riders an outdoor workers ahead of MWC 2017. The rugged casing on the tablet can survive drops (up to 1 meter), dust and water splashes, as per the IP54 ratings.  It has a 10.1-inch IPS HD screen, is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT8163 processor, has 1GB of RAM, comes with front and rear cameras and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).

LG just announced X power2, its latest smartphone in the ‘X series’ and the successor of last year’s X Power smartphone ahead of MWC 2017 in Barcelona. This packs a 4500mAh battery that can charge up to 50% in one hour and fully charge in two hours. It packs a 5.5-inch HD In-cell Touch display compared to a 5.3-inch HD display on the predecessor and is also powered by a faster 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi introduced selfie stick back in 2015, today it has introduced a new selfie stick in China that also has a built-in tripod so that you don’t have to hold it in your hand. The Selfie stick tripod has a built-in Bluetooth remote that works with Android 4.3 or later and iOS 5.0 or later, similar to its selfie stick but this can be removed so that you can press it when you take selfies if you have placed the tripod far. iOS 10 is now present on 79% of Apple devices

Airtel to acquire Telenor India

Airtel today announced that it has agreed to acquire Telenor India. As part of the agreement, Airtel will acquire Telenor India’s running operations in seven circles – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP (East), UP (West) and Assam, and transfer of all of Telenor India’s assets including spectrum, licenses and operations, including its employees and customer base of 44 million as well as outstanding spectrum payments and other operational contracts, including tower lease.
