Oakley and Meta have launched Oakley Meta Vanguard in India, following its global debut at Meta Connect last year, expanding availability of the Performance AI glasses designed for high-intensity sports and outdoor training.

Oakley Meta Vanguard is designed for use during demanding physical activity. The glasses are built to remain stable during movement and support use with cycling helmets and headwear. They carry an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, enabling operation in wet, dusty, and high-sweat environments.
The wraparound frame integrates Oakley PRIZM lens technology, which enhances contrast and colour definition while protecting against wind, sunlight, and debris. The frames use Oakley’s Three-Point Fit system and include three interchangeable nose pads, with low- and high-bridge options for fit customisation.

Oakley Meta Vanguard integrates Meta AI with Garmin and other supported fitness platforms, enabling real-time access to workout data through voice commands and the Meta AI app. Users can receive spoken performance updates during activity, while a peripheral status indicator provides visual feedback when metrics such as pace or heart rate are within set targets.
The glasses include a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 122-degree field of view, supporting hands-free video capture up to 3K resolution. Audio output is delivered through open-ear speakers, paired with a multi-microphone system designed to reduce wind interference during calls and voice interactions.
