Google Chromecast 3 with 1080p streaming at 60 fps, improved Wi-Fi, new Chalk color announced

Google has quietly introduced its third-generation Chromecast after the Pixel event. It still has a circular design with built-in HDMI cable and it comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5Ghz) support, however the Wi-Fi reception has been improved with maximum antenna gain of 4dBi compared to Chromecast 2’s 2.1dBi gain, which is about 50% improvement.
