Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with 5.5-inch FHD+ and 6.3-inch QHD+ 18.5:9 OLED displays, dual front cameras announced starting at $799

Google just announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones as it had promised. The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and the Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and a notch. These have a similar  12.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Dual Pixel auto focus, and comes with dual rear 8-megapixel cameras, one with 97-degree wide-angle lens for group selfies. These come with new AI-powered camera features.

Honor Magic 2 with bezel-less display, slide-out design, Kirin 980, 40W super fast charge to be announced on October 31

Panasonic has launched Eluga Ray 600, the company’s latest smartphone in the Eluga series. It has a 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by quad-core MediaTek SoC with 3GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front camera that also has an LED flash.

Google is shutting down Google+ following massive data breach

Google earlier this year started Project Strobe which is review system for third-party developer access to Google account and Android device data and its philosophy around apps’ data access. Google today is announcing the first four findings and actions from this review. Google is shutting down Google+ for consumers.
