Asus also launched the ZenPad 8.0 and ZenPad 7.0 at the Zenfestival in India today. These were announced at the Computex back in June. The ZenPad 7.0 and ZenPad 8.0 come with 7-inch and a 8-inch HD displays. The ZenPad 7.0 is powered by Atom x3-C323 64-bit SoC, while the ZenPad 8.0 is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929) SoC. Both these run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI.
Asus has announced the Zenfone Max, the company’s latest smartphone at the ZenFestival. It packs a 5000mAh battery and has a leather back. It can also be used to charge other devices. Asus launched the Zenfone 2 Laser in India at the ZenFestival. It comes in three variants. All these have a 13-megapixel rear camera with real-tone flash, laser auto focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 has a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by a Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also comes in a 3GB RAM variant with Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla glass 4 protection, is powered by a Snapdragon 615 Oct-Core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel front and rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus for the rear camera for capturing images faster and better even in low-lighting conditions. Asus has launched Zenfone 2 Deluxe, the company’s latest high-end smartphone at the ZenFestival. The back cover made of the smartphone has a premium polygonal material. Other specifications are similar to the Zenfone 2 that was launched in India earlier this year, including a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection, 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor , 13-megapixel rear PixelMaster camera with Real Tone flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI.

After running 4G trails in several cities for the past few months, Airtel today launched its 4G services in 296 towns across India. Airtel launched its 4G TDD-LTE services in Kolkata back in 2012 and recently expanded its roll out to several cities. Airtel also offers integrated 4G services in some circles like Delhi NCR that uses both 2300MHz TDD-LTE (band 40) and 1800MHz FDD-LTE (band 3). Lenovo has announced that the K3 Note smartphone will be available without registrations through open sale on August 10 and 11th exclusively from Flipkart. The company launched the K3 Note smartphone on June 25th. It sold 47,440 units in the first flash sale on July 8th, 49,800 units (30,000 units in black and 19,800 units in white) in the second flash sale, 45,000 units (27,000 units in black and 18,000 units in white) in the third flash sale and 62,000 units in the fourth flash sale yesterday.
