HTC Desire 530 and Desire 630 with 5-inch HD display, Android 6.0, 4G LTE announced

HTC just announced Desire 530 and Desire 630, the company’s smartphones in the Desire 500 series and Desire 600 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona, as rumored earlier today. Both these have a 5-inch HD screen, run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC’s own Sense 7 UI, pack 5-megapixel front-facing camera and have 4G LTE connectivity . The Desire 530 has a 8-megapixel rear camera, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, while the Desire 630 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor.

Even though both the phones have a similar design, only the Desire 630 has BoomSound, Dolby audio and comes bundled with Hi-Res audio headset.

  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • Dimensions: 146.9×70.9×8.3mm; Weight: 140g

The HTC Desire 530 comes in Graphite Grey and Solid Stratus White and the Desire 630 comes in Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash and Graphite Gray Remix with gold micro splash colors. Both the phones will roll out starting from March, but no word on the pricing yet.
