Lenovo launched A2010, a budget smartphone with 4G support in Vietnam earlier this month. Now the company is planning to launch it in India as the most affordable 4G smartphone, according to a report from The Economic Times. OnePlus One Bamboo StyleSwap cover was launched in India months after the smartphone was launched in the country. This time the company has decided to launch the Style Swap covers for the OnePlus 2 along with the smartphone. This comes in four options – Kevlar, Bamboo, Black Apricot and Rosewood. Unlike the OnePlus One, the OnePlus 2 doesn’t require any tools to open the back cover. OnePlus also launched flip cover and other accessories in India on Amazon.in.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2 Prime smartphone in India last week for Rs. 6,999. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21GHz per core, similar to the Redmi 2, but this has 2GB of RAM. The Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone originally announced last September and the Graphite Edition was introduced back in April. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Sonipat. Airtel said that it had received great response during trail period in Ambala, Panipat, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal and Yamunanagar. Airtel 4G is available to customers across mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in the city. For existing Airtel customers, the company is offering a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G. Paytm has surpassed 100 million mobile wallet users in India who are carrying out 75 million transactions every month. The popular mobile commerce marketplace and digital wallet company claims that its wallet is now accepted by over 80,000 merchants across the country.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2 Prime, the company’s first smartphone that is Made in India. It is the enhanced version of the Redmi 2 that was launched in the country earlier this year. It is priced at Rs. 6,999 in the India and is currently on sale on Mi.com and across all Mi India partners including Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal.

Philips has launched Xenium I908, a mid-range smartphone and the S309, a budget smartphone in India. The Philips I908 appeared on the official Philips India website last year and packs a 5-inch 1080p screen, 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Philips S309 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
