Google today launched its Knowledge Graph in Bengali language, increasing the Knowledge Graph language count to 41 languages. This will be useful for over 200 million Bengali speakers to search for things, people or places such as landmarks, celebrities, cities, sports teams, buildings, geographical features, movies, celestial objects, works of art and more. Micromax just launched Dual 5, the company’s latest smartphone in the new Dual series with dual 13-megapixel rear Sony sensors, one with monochrome lens for capturing details and other with RGB lens. Amazon is planning to open grocery stores in India, according to a latest report from the New York Times. The initiative is internally code-named as Project Everest, added the report. Amazon is expected to open its first grocery store in Bangalore.

It was introduced at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona last month, and packs a 5.2-inch 1080p screen and Snapdragon 820 processor, same as the predecessor, but this runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). In a bid to provide connectivity in remote areas, Indian Railways will set up Wi-Fi hotspot kiosks at about 500 stations under a new scheme. Dubbed as Railwire Saathi, the WiFi hotspots will help people access an array of online services, including various government schemes, said a PTI report.

After making Aadhaar compulsory for filing income tax returns and applying for PAN, the government has announced that Aadhaar mandatory for mobile phone connections, following an order of the Supreme Court last month. The Department of Telecom has announced that all telecom operators will have re-verify all existing mobile subscribers (prepaid and postpaid) through Aadhaar based E-KYC process within a year.
