Last month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona Lenovo introduced its mid-range Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. It launched the Moto G5 Plus in India on March 15th, today it has sent out invites for the launch of Moto G5 in India on April 4th. Moto G5 Plus was launched exclusively on Flipkart, the G5 will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. It will go on sale from 5th April 2017 at 12 midnight (00:00 hrs.) onwards.

It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and also has water repellent nano-coating, same as the Moto G5 Plus.
Unlike the Moto G5 Plus, the Moto G5 has a removable back cover as well as a removable battery. It has dual SIM slots, microSD card slot and packs a 2800mAh battery with 10W rapid charging.
