Xiaomi recently announced a temporary price cut of Rs. 2,000 for Mi 4 variant during Mi Fan Festival on April 8th. Today the company has implemented permanent price cut for both the variants of the Mi 4. The 16GB variant is now available for Rs. 17,999, down from the launch price of Rs. 19,999 and the 64GB variant is available for Rs. 21,999, down from the launch price of Rs. 23,999. Infocus launched its Infocus M2 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 4999. We already brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the smartphone. Here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with four ARM Cortex A7 cores and Mali 400 GPU, similar to most other budget smartphones.It has 4.2 Inch (1280 × 768 pixels) display, 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with InLife UI. Lenovo has announced that it sold 30,000 units of Lenovo A7000 smartphones in its first flash sale in India on Flipkart today at 2PM. The smartphone was launched in India at an event earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Lenovo has announced A6000 Plus at the Flipkart office in Bangalore during the live flash sale of its A7000 smartphone. The Lenovo A6000 Plus has a 5-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Vibe UI on top, similar to the Lenovo A6000 that was launched in India earlier this year, but the has RAM and internal storage have been upped to 2GB and 16GB, respectively compared to 1GB and 8GB on the A6000. Soon after Flipkart announced that it is backing out from joining Airtel Zero platform stating that the company is fully committed to the cause of net neutrality, Airtel has issues a statement that Airtel Zero is not a tariff proposition. The statement made by Flipkart regarding their decision not to offer toll free data service to their customers is consistent with our stand that Airtel Zero is not a tariff proposition, said the company. It says that it is merely an open platform for content providers to provide toll free data services on a completely non discriminatory basis. HTC has introduced its new Desire 326G dual sim in India at the launch of its One M9+ and One E9+ smartphones. The Desire 326G dual sim has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an ultrapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One M9+ that was also launched in India earlier today at an event. It was announced in China earlier this month and packs a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen, is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a fingerprint sensor below the display for secure lock and payments. Xiaomi recently partnered with GreenDust and Overcart to sell refurbished and unboxed Redmi 1S smartphones. The Redmi 1S is now available from Overcart at Rs. 4999, cheaper than the cost of new unit in sealed box.
