Karbonn has launched Titanium MachOne Plus, the company’s latest smartphone in the Titanium series and the successor of its Titanium MachOne smartphone. It packs a 4.7-inch HD screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has an LED flash for capturing better selfies even in low-light. Infocus launched its M2 smartphone in India back in March. Today the company has launched the Infocus M2 4G, the 4G variant of the smartphone with Snapdragon 400 SoC instead of MediaTek MT6582 in the 3G variant. Other specifications are similar, including a 4.2-inch (1280 × 768 pixels) 355PPI display, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 8-megapixel auto-focus front-facing camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash. Intex has officially launched its iRist smartwatch at the MWC Shanghai. This has a built-in 3G SIM support with support for make or receive calls and SMS. It runs on full Android 4.4.2 OS with Google Play Store, and Intex says that it is the first Indian company to launch an Android-powered smartwatch. OnePlus One 16GB Unboxed units to go on sale next week on Overcart for Rs. 12999

Overcart sold OnePlus One 64GB refurbished units back in May for Rs. 16,999. Today it has announced that it will be selling unboxed units of 16GB Silk White OnePlus One next week for Rs. 12999. It will be covered under a six-month manufacturer warranty from OnePlus, said the company.  A new 16GB OnePlus One unit costs Rs. 18,998, but it is currently out of stock on Amazon.in and Flipkart.

Lava Iris X5 4G with 2GB RAM shows up in benchmarks, could be Android One smartphone

Lava Iris X5 4G has surfaced in GFXBench (via) benchmark listing. This is likely to be the upcoming Android One smartphone from Lava that was expected to launch today according to a ET report. Looks like the launch is not happening today and got postponed. Coming to the listing, it reveals 2GB RAM and a MediaTek SoC that coincides with the earlier report. Even though it shows it has a 4.6-inch display, it could feature a 5-inch display as reported earlier.

It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with true tone LED flash, Sony Exmor R sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a metal frame and is just 6.99mm thick. It has 4G LTE connectivity, but only has 1800MHz FDD-LTE Band 3.
