Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in Mysore

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Mysore (Mysuru), Karnataka after a month of launching its 4G services in Kerala. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. “It is built on a strong fibre back-haul, and is supported by new and superfast 3G services on a modern network of 2100 MHz,” said the company. Vodafone is offering free 4G upgrade to 4G with instant SIM swap through all Vodafone stores and select retail outlets in the city. HTC has launched the Desire 728 dual sim, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India. It was introduced in China back in September last year, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HTC’s own Sense UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers and Dolby Audio. OnePlus introduced the OnePlus X in Onyx glass back and limited edition Ceramic variants back in October. The OnePlus X Onyx edition priced at Rs. 16,999 went on sale in India and several countries with an invite back in November. Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala, almost a month after launching LTE services in the country starting from Kochi. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3, which the company acquired last year. Its 4G service in Kozhikode is built over fibre backhaul, and is supported by its 3G services on a network of 2100 MHz.
