Xolo Era 4X with 5.45-inch 18:9 display, face unlock, Dual 4G VoLTE launched starting at Rs. 4444 [Update: Now available]

After a year-long hiatus, Xolo is back with a new budget smartphone, Era 4X. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ screen with a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, run Android 8.1 (Oreo), feature an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera, both with LED flash, Dual 4G VoLTE and a 3000mAh battery. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, but comes with face unlock for the 2GB RAM version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro gets another price cut in India as it hits 1 crore unit sales, now starts at Rs. 12999

After announcing a price cut for Mi A2 yesterday, Xiaomi today announced a price cut for its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India as the company has sold 1 crore or 10 million units. It was launched  back in February last year and got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November. The smartphone is now available for Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB version, after a Rs. 1000 price cut and the 6GB+64GB version is available for Rs. 13,999, after a Rs. 2000 price cut on Flipkart, Amazon.in, Mi.com and offline stores. Xiaomi launched the Mi A2, the company’s second Android One smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 16,999, later it got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November. Today the company has announced a second price cut in the country. The is available for Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB+64GB version, after a Rs. 2000 price cut and the 6GB+128GB version is available for Rs. 15,999, after a Rs. 3000 price cut on Amazon.in and Mi.com.

New Nokia 106 with long battery life launched in India for Rs. 1299

HMD Global has launched new Nokia 106 feature phone as the successor of the old Nokia 106 in India. It was introduced in November last year, has the same 1.8-inch (160 x 128 pixels) TFT display with 4-way Navi Key and the same 800mAh battery as the predecessor, but this promises 15.7 hours talk time.

Xiaomi Mi LED Smart TV 4A 32, Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32 and Mi LED TV 4A PRO 49 get a price cut in India

Several Xiaomi products have seen price fluctuations in recent months. The company’s Mi LED TV rates were hiked back in November due to depreciation of the rupee, however it recently reduced rates of its smartphone . Today, for the new year the company has reduced the rates of some of its TVs, including the Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32″  and Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49″ that received a price hike couple of months back.
