Realme C1 (2019) with 6.2-inch HD+ display, dual rear cameras, 32GB storage, 4230mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 7499

Realme has launched the C1 2019, the company’s latest budget smartphone in India, after teasing it last week. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, 2.05mm ultra narrow bezel, and 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. The company says that the screen bezel is further narrowed by 16%, the phone to achieve this high screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 with up to 2GB of RAM, runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Xiaomi ShareSave cross-border e-commerce platform launched in India

Xiaomi has launched ShareSave, the company’s new cross-border e-commerce platform starting from India. This will help users outside of China to purchase ecosystem products that have only been available within China. The platform offers a comprehensive selection of the products that are crafted by Xiaomi’s ecosystem companies, including mobile peripherals, smart hardware and lifestyle products.

Xiaomi rolls out final MIUI 10.2 update for Redmi Note 3

Redmi 1S, Redmi Note/Prime, Redmi 2/Prime were the devices which redefined their respective price segments back in 2014-15 and helped Xiaomi becoming an established player in India but it was Redmi Note 3 that paved the way towards making company India’s No. 1 smartphone brand. The device is almost three years old now and so, Back in December, Xiaomi announced that MIUI 10.2 will be the last update for the devices including Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5. Last year, it dropped software support for some devices including Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i that were launched in 2015 or before.
