Byond Tech has launched B66, a new Android Smartphone with Dual SIM support. It come with a 5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) Capacitive multi-touch Touch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calls and packs a 2600 mAh battery. The Karbonn Smart A111 with a 5-inch display and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor went on sale in India recently. Karbonn Smart A111 with 5-inch display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor now available for Rs. 10290

Karbonn Smart A111, a new dual SIM Android Smartphone is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 5-inch (480 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), similar to Karbonn A21 and A9+, that were launched last year. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back and a front-facing camera.

JBL Lightning-equipped Audio Docks available in India starting from February

JBL has announced that their new range of Lightning-equipped Audio Docks for Apple devices including the iPhone 5, the iPad 4th Generation and the iPad mini would go on sale in India starting from this month. These audio docks include, the JBL OnBeat Micro, JBL OnBeat Mini, JBL OnBeat Venue LT and the JBL OnBeat Rumble. JBL is one of the first company to launch the audio docks with lightning support, and they have managed to sell over 250 thousand units of these audio docks worldwide. Zync to launch new quad-core Android Tablets by February-end


Zync has announced that they plan to launch five new dual-core and quad-core tablets in sub-Rs.15,000 price range by the end of this month. These tablets would have 7-inch, 8-inch, 9.7-inch and 10.1-inch displays, respectively. Zync launched the Z-990 running Androrid 4.0 back in March 2012, which was India’s first Tablet to run on Android 4.0. Since then they have been launching several tablets, with the latest being the Z99, a budget Android tablet with 2G voice calling support. Aircel and ICICI Bank partner to launch Mobile Money

Aircel and ICICI Bank have announced the joint launch of Mobile Money, Mobile Banking service. It runs on Visa’s Mobile Managed Service that hosts and manages the Mobile Money platform, which saves time, complexity and cost for Aircel that would require to set up a mobile payment services. It would offer safe, secure and instant money transfers, including bill payments. Airtel launched the Airtel Money, their own mobile wallet service back in 2011, and launched the Airtel Money Super Account last year, in partnership with Axis Bank. HCL has launched three new tablets in India running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The ME U2 is the successor of the ME U1 that was launched last year. It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) multi-touch capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor with Mali 400 GPU. The HCL ME V1 comes with a similar 7-inch display, powered by a 1 GHz cortex A8 CPU with GC430 GPU and has 2G voice calling support. The HCL ME Y3 has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. Idea launches 3G Speed Booster plans for postpaid customers

Idea Cellular has launched new 3G speed booster plans for post-paid customers that would let them enjoy high-speed data throughout their billing cycle. These plans are aimed at high-end data users with unlimited and bill secure plans, so that they need not wait till the next billing cycle to get their original speed back, rather than being throttled to 128 Kbps after the data cap based on the plan. Idea Cellular offers 3G speeds of up to 21.1 Mbps till the respective volume of usage.

Videocon has launched the VT71, a new 7-inch tablet. It has a 7-inch ( 800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen, powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Xolo X500 benchmarks – Intel Atom Z2420 CPU and Power VR SGX540 GPU

Xolo X500 was launched in India last week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Xolo X500 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 single-core processor with Power VR SGX540 GPU. The Xolo X900 that was launched in India last year is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 Medfield processor, but the new CPU is aimed at low-cost Android smartphones.
