JBL Lightning-equipped Audio Docks available in India starting from February


JBL has announced that their new range of Lightning-equipped Audio Docks for Apple devices including the iPhone 5, the iPad 4th Generation and the iPad mini would go on sale in India starting from this month. These audio docks include, the JBL OnBeat Micro, JBL OnBeat Mini, JBL OnBeat Venue LT and the JBL OnBeat Rumble. JBL is one of the first company to launch the audio docks with lightning support, and they have managed to sell over 250 thousand units of these audio docks worldwide.

Features of JBL Lightning Audio Docks

  • JBL OnBeat Micro has a Lightning docking connector and has USB port for compatibility with other devices. It has 2 JBL full-range transducers for thumping audio output. You can also carry it with you as a portable dock just by inserting AAA batteries or use it non-stop at home with AC power.
  • JBL OnBeat Mini is a small, powerful loudspeaker for the iPad mini or a iPhone5. It also features a USB port for enhanced compatibility. With a built-in DSP this dock delivers dynamic, room-filling sound.
  • JBL OnBeat Venue LT is a Bluetooth equipped loudspeaker dock and a Lightning connector that lets you experience music, movies, videos and games in true JBL high-definition sound with 30 watts of amplifier and 2 JBL Full-range transducers.
  • JBL OnBeat Rumble is a Bluetooth-equipped loudspeaker dock featuring a built-in subwoofer which delivers massive JBL sound with roaring bass. It also has Lightning connector dock. The AAC Bluetooth connectivity and HARMAN TrueStream technology offers high-quality wireless audio streaming.


These JBL Lightning-equipped Audio Docks would be available in India between February and April 2013 at all JBL outlets, the JBL e-commerce portal, Apple Approved Resellers, Croma and Reliance Digital stores. JBL did not reveal the pricing for these Audio Docks yet.
