HCL Infosystems and ICT Systems Integration has launched the ME Champ targeted at kids between 3 to 12 years of age. The tablet went on sale online earlier this month and packs a  7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) multi-touch display, powered by a 1 GHz Cortex A9 processor with Mali-400 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Karbonn has launched four new budget smartphones, A90, A16, A99 and A35 in India. The Karbonn A90, A16, A99 have about 4-inch WVGA display, while the Karbonn A35 comes with a 5.0-inch qHD display. All these phones are powered by a dual-core processor. The Karbonn A90 and the A35 run on Android 4.0 (ICS) and come with 2G support, which the other two phones A16 and A99 run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and have 3G support. Apple iPhone 5c India Prices confirmed , starts from Rs.41900

Apple just confirmed the official prices for the iPhone 5c in India which is expected to go on sale on November 1st in the country. Shockingly the iPhone 5c is going to cost a lot and start from Rs.41900 including taxes for the 16GB version. The 32GB version of the iPhone 5c will cost Rs.53500.  Just for the context the iPhone 5c costs USD 549 in the US for an unlocked unit.That translates to around Rs.36000 approx including taxes. Apple iPhone 5S India Prices out , starts from Rs.53500 for 16GB

Apple has just revealed the official pricing for the iPhone 5S in India which goes on sale on November 1st .The iPhone 5s will be available in gold, silver or space grey an will retail at a price of Rs.53,500 including VAT for the 16GB model. This is so much higher than the launch price of the iPhone 5 last year of Rs.45500 mainly due to the weak rupee.

RCOM to offer Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5c in India from Nov 1st

Reliance Communications RCOM announced today that it would offer the Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 5C on the Reliance 3G network starting from November 1st. Apple had announced few days back that it is launching the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s in India and this news from Indian operators does not come as a surprise.The iPhone 5S is powered by a 64-bit processor and packs a better camera and a TouchID fingerprint sensor. The iPhone 5C is just the iPhone 5 wrapped in a colorful plastic shell but is priced slightly below the iPhone 5s.

Airtel to offer Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S in India

India’s leading mobile operator Bharti Airtel just announced that it would offer the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C on the Airtel network starting from November 1st. This news comes after Apple announced that it was indeed launching the new iPhone in India on November 1st. Reliance Communications also announced that it going to offer the new iPhones on its network. Historically Apple has launched the iPhone on Airtel and Vodafone and Aircel made it to the list recently. Reliance is the new addition this year.

The E-Tab E-Tab Z7C+ (Connect+) with voice calling support went on sale recently, but this has a dual SIM support similar to the Micromax Funbook Mini P410 that went on sale earlier this month.  It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8377  processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with with a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572M processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 2 MP rear camera without flash, but comes with 3G support. It also has dual SIM support with dual standby similar to most of the Micromax smartphones. These are powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with a front-facing camera. HTC One mini officially launched in India for Rs. 36,790

The HTC One mini was announced as the company’s answer to people wanting a compact version of the popular flagship – One, but it arguably did a “mini” on the specifications too, which left people wanting more, especially with that price tag. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the One mini has finally gotten its official launch in India, and it has a MOP price of Rs. 36,790, well above the earlier price some e-tailers had posted. While the price may be a bit on the higher side, the One mini does bring a lot of features that were made popular by the One, including the 4 MP UltraPixel camera, the HTC Zoe camera feature and a really good SLCD2 screen spanning 4.3 inches and sporting a 1280×720 resolution. It is definitely good looking too, borrowing from the design on the One, but with more polycarbonate on the sides and the front.

It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and packs a 4000 mAh battery. Xolo launched the Xolo Tab last month powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 and voice calling, but this lacks 3G support or voice calling. Aircel introduces cheap Pocket Internet 3G plans starting at Rs. 128 for 1GB per month

Aircel, one of the leading mobile operators in India, has followed Reliance Mobile’s footsteps by launching a new and cheap tariff for 3G data plans. The 3G data pack rates have almost been halved in this case, and now are even more affordable. It used to cost Rs. 250 for 1GB of data in the Chennai circle, but now it is just Rs. 128 and the data pack rates slightly vary for other regions. There is also a new Pocket Internet Rs. 27 data pack that offers unlimited 2G/3G data for 7 days, with a FUP of 750 MB. The new tariff is much needed for rapid uptake in 3G and we think we will see it happen once all the operators introduce this new pack. Airtel has launched myPlan, a new option for post-paid subscribers to customize a plan suitable for them in three easy steps. This lets you pick the rentals, benefits and top ups. You can choose monthly rental priced between Rs. 199 and Rs. 999. Once you choose a monthly rental you can choose myPacks, which are free benefits, finally you can choose boosters at a nominal rate.
