Compared to the specifications of the Galaxy Core 2, these new Android One smartphones from Micromax, Spice and Karbonn are better, and also cheaper. Also, these run on stock Android and would also get directly get software updates directly from Google.

Other smartphone manufacturers could reduce the price of their entry-level to mid-range smartphones following the launch of these Android One smartphones. If you want to get the Galaxy Core 2, you can get it from the official Samsung India eStore at the new price of Rs. 8,007.
