Xiaomi’s eco system company Huami just introduced new Xiaomi products – Verge smartwatch, Health Band 1S and its first Huangshan No. 1 SoC for wearable devices. Both the smartwatch and smart band are water resistant, and have continuous heart rate monitoring. The band also comes with ECG sensor to gather ECG data to identify health risks. The smartwatch has NFC support for payments.
Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 3 along with the Mi 8 in China back in May, and the fitness tracker when on sale on June 5th. The company already announced that it has sold 1 million units of the Mi Band 3 in just 17 days. After the BIP and Stratos that were launched in July, Huami’s Amazfit has launched Cor fitness band and Amazfit Pace Multisport GPS Smartwatch with support for tracking 12 different sports. The Cor has 5 ATM water-resistant rating and the Pace has IP67 ratings.

Huawei’s Honor brand along with the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max, also introduced Honor Band 4, successor of Honor Band 3. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color 2.5D curved glass touch screen display in addition to Home button, comes with continuous heart rate tracking and is also water resistant up to 50 meters with Swim stroke recognition.

It has an OLED display, which enables users to be notified of incoming calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages and shows physical activities as well as calories consumed. Xiaomi has finally announced the most expected Mi Band 3 at the Mi 8 event in China, as it had promised. It has a 0.78-inch OLED display, compared to 0.42-inch in the Mi Band 2 so that it can display more characters including WhatsApp, Facebook or SMS messages, Weather info, caller ID and more. It also 5ATM water proof so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters.
