It has ECG (Electrocardiography) and BP (Blood Pressure) monitoring to measure a Unique Fatigue & Stress Factor in addition to the ability to continuously measure heart rate as well as resting heart rate. The thealth app gives the user an overall Health Index score which is a combination of activity tracking, calorie count, sleeping patterns, stress & fatigue levels as well as Blood Pressure and Heart Health.
Chinese smartphone maker iVOOMi has launched FitMe, a fitness band that has option to indicate Air Quality Index (AQI) or pollution, which tells you how clean or unhealthy the air around you is, so that you can take necessary steps to prevent the associated health hazards. This feature provides information on AQI across all Indian cities. The FitMe Health Band also provides information about the weather conditions. Huawei’s Honor brand launched Honor Band A2 in India. It was introduced in China back in May last year, has a 0.96-inch OLED touch display and heart rate sensor with continuous heart rate tracking during fitness activities. A year after launching the Mi Band 2 in the country, Xiaomi launched the Mi Band HRX Edition in India in partnership with HRX by Hrithik Roshan back in September. This has the same OLED display and a similar design, but doesn’t have a heart rate sensor. I have been using it for over a couple of months now. Garmin today launched Vivosport, its latest smart activity tracker with built-in Elevate wrist-based heart rate sensor that monitors heart rate 24×7. It was introduced back in August and comes with Chroma color touchscreen display with built-in sports apps to track both indoor and outdoor workouts such as strength training, cycling, cardio and more.

Samsung just launched the Gear Fit2 Pro fitness tracker with a new watch-style clasp and the Gear Sport smartwatch in India. Both these were introduced at the IFA 2017. The Gear Fit2 Pro has a 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen and built-in GPS and runs Tizen OS, similar to the predecessor The Gear Sport has a 1.2-inch Circular Super AMOLED Always On display and comes with GPS, Heart rate sensor and NFC for Samsung Pay. It has easily changeable standard 20mm straps.

Xiaomi has launched Mi Band HRX Edition in India in partnership with HRX by Hrithik Roshan, after teasing it earlier this week. This has almost similar specifications as the Mi Band 2, including an OLED display and is splash resistant, but the HRX edition will offer an improved tracking algorithm to accurately monitor your activities and promises up to 23-days of battery life, compared to 20 days on the Mi band 2, however it doesn’t have a heart rate sensor.
