Huawei Ascend G7 4G LTE review

At IFA last year, Huawei’s new Ascend Mate 7 flagship might have stolen the show but they also introduced the Ascend G7 smartphone which borrowed design inspiration from other flagship smartphones and aimed to deliver a solid experience without requiring a large initial outlay. At a cost of £150-£200 in the UK, the LTE-enabled Ascend G7 is a smartphone with mid-range specifications and a flagship design coupled in a package designed to be affordable for everyone.

On paper, the Ascend G7 offers mid-range specifications without a standout feature but how does the smartphone perform? Kingston 64GB microSDXC UHS-I U3 memory card Review

Kingston introduced its 64GB Class 10 UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) microSD for smartphones and tablets last month. It is not available in India yet, but we manged to get one for review before it launches here. Since it is a UHS-1 U3 (Ultra High-Speed Bus, Speed Class 3) card, it is rated for a minimum 30MB/s read/write speed as recommended by the SD Association, but Kingston promises 90MB/s read and 80MB/s write speed. Xiaomi Mi 4 Review

Xiaomi, the Chinese manufacturer entered the Indian market with its Mi 3 smartphone and the smartphone turned out to be a huge success in the country. The unbelievable price tag it carried helped the device sell like hot cakes.

Kingston 128GB microSDXC memory card Review

Kingston introduced its 128GB Class 10 UHS-I Speed Class 1 (U1) microSD for smartphones and tablets last year. It is not available in India yet, but we manged to get one for review before it launches here. Since this is a class 10 Card, it promises a minimum data transfer rate of 10MB/s. With more and more smartphones released on the market each year, it becomes even more difficult for a handset to stand out from the competition. Some manufacturers have attempted to attract customers using specialist software and hardware features – like the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 4 – but for others, standing out has been difficult and we’ve seen many companies struggle to make their mark.

Oppo R5 Review: Fashionably thin

Gionee Elife S5.1 Review

Gionee launched the Elife S5.1, the company’s thinnest smartphone in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 18,999. It is the successor of the Gionee Elife S5.5 that was launched earlier this year.
