Redmi 9 Power is the latest smartphone in the Redmi 9 series after the Redmi 9, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9a and the Redmi 9i. Unlike the other smartphones in the series with either MediaTek Helio G25 or G35 entry-level and mid-range Helio G80 SoC in the Redmi 9 Prime, this one is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC. After a year of teasing us with the design, specs and upcoming games, Sony has finally launched their next generation game console in India, the PlayStation 5. The console has been in development for many years now, and has some major upgrades over the PlayStation 4 Pro, which was released more than 4 years ago. Similar to the last generation, Sony chose AMD CPUs and GPUs to power the console, and they are significantly more powerful than any of the previous generation.

Samsung is finally releasing the successor to the popular 860 EVO SATA SSD with the launch of the 870 EVO SSD. The 870 EVO is the most refined V-NAND TLC flash SSD in the lineup and features the updated Samsung MKX Controller. Samsung had introduced the Samsung T7 series of portable SSDs earlier this year and we got a chance to review the 1TB version. ASUS is well known in the gaming laptop space, with many popular devices in the ROG and TUF series. While their VivoBook series traditionally is meant for casual usage, both for students and working professionals, ASUS always releases a gaming variant in the VivoBook series, to give their users a laptop that can be used for regular work along with some casual gaming. The latest in the VivoBook series features up to a 10th Gen Core i7 processor which is great for everyday tasks and it is complimented with up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPU, which is another great entry level mobile GPU. A couple of months back, Amazon launched the successor to the popular Fire TV Stick – The Amazon Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen along with a ‘Lite’ version and it has been on sale in India since mid-October. The new Fire TV Stick and the Fire TV Stick Lite are powered by a faster 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with IMG GE8300 GPU that is 50% more powerful than the previous generation. These offer 1080p HDR streaming, support Dolby Audio, and more. I have been using the device for quite some time now, and here’s my Amazon Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen Review.
Keeping up with the tradition, OnePlus launched the ‘T’ version of the OnePlus 8 series in India a few weeks back. The OnePlus 8T is similarly spec’d as its predecessor, but, it carries few upgrades too – 65W charger, a 200mAh battery bump-up, 5MP macro camera, 2MP depth camera and 120Hz display. However, the upgrades becomes meaningful only if it’s implemented right.

TicWatch, known for its smartwatches and activity trackers belongs to parent company Mobvoi Information Technology Company Limited, which was founded 8 years ago. Besides smartwatches, they also make other wearables like TWS and headsets. Their top-of-the-line product in terms of activity trackers to date is TicWatch Pro.
At the lower price point the TicWatch GTX is an entry-level activity tracker cum basic watch sporting a classic look and is powered by its proprietary operating system.
