Global wearable market soars 200% YoY for Q1, 2015: Report

According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, vendors shipped a total of 11.4 million wearables in 1Q15, a 200% increase from the 3.8 million wearables shipped in Q1, 2014. This is wearable market’s eighth consecutive quarter of steady growth in the first quarter of 2015 (1Q15).

India smartphone market declines for the first time in Q4, 2014: IDC

Indian smartphone market has shrinked for the first time in Q4, 2014, as per latest report from IDC. Mobile shipment stood at 64.3 million units in Q4 2014, reflecting a quarter-on-quarter drop of 11% over Q3 2014 and an annual drop of 5%.

In the second of a two part-series, we look at the ways that Huawei tests the ability of its handsets to survive environment and climate changes as well as the key part; the reliability of its smartphones and their various ports and buttons.
