Honor 8 Lite with 5.2-inch 1080p display, Android 7.0, fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE announced

Honor 8 Lite

Huawei Honor brand today introduced Honor 8 Lite, a cheaper version of last year’s flagship Honor 8 smartphone in Finland. The main difference is that this has a 12-megapixel single rear camera instead of dual 12-megapixel rear cameras on the Honor 8. This also comes with a less powerful Kirin 655 processor, similar to the Honor 6X instead of Honor 8’s Kirin 950 SoC, but this runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 out of the box. Apple shipped record 2.5 million iPhone units in India during 2016

Apple has reached a new milestone in terms of iPhone sales in India. The company has sold over 2.5 million units in 2016, according to a latest report from Counterpoint research. The report further revealed that a 1/3 of its total shipment coming alone from the record fourth quarter and was driven by seasonality and the launch of iPhone 7.
