Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 3 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series in China. It is a high-end variant of the Redmi Note 3 that was introduced back in November. It packs the same 5.5-inch 1080p screen, comes with a metal body and has a fingerprint sensor on the back, but this is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 (Snapdragon 618 previously) processor and has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second. The QiKU Q Terra is quite a unique phone when it comes to the kind of features and specifications it packs. We decided to do our first teardown on the device to see what really makes it tick and have a first hand experience at the internals. Smartphones of late have often resulted in both companies and users having to make choices. You either get superior materials, build quality and design or have features such as removable battery and microSD expansion. Companies like Samsung went for the former while LG chose the latter and it affected their sales as a result.
