Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones went on sale today in over 25 countries. As usual, folks at iFixit have already managed to grab a iPhone 7 Plus from Japan and have given at a teardown treatment. The Huawei P9 might be a compact smartphone with a 5.2″ screen size and a slim waistline of just 7 mm throughout. However, it packs quite a lot of processing power under the hood despite the size suggesting otherwise.
Apple has officially slashed the price of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones in India by up to Rs. 22,000 in India. It has also slashed the price of iPhone SE by Rs. 5000 in the country. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones were launched in India starting at Rs. 62000 and Rs. 72000, respectively back in October last year. There was always a confusion among the general public about which Galaxy Note or Galaxy S device was the latest since the Note series was always a number behind on the latest version. This time around, Samsung decided to skip the number 6 and went with Note7 branding in order to bring it in line with the Galaxy S series lineup as well the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which are now available.
Perhaps the most important thing about the Huawei P9 is its design and how compact it is. While there are several other smartphones too that come with compact bodies, most of them compromise on what is inside. The Huawei P9 on the other hand tells a different story.
Apple has launched Swift Playgrounds app that makes it easier for children and adults to code. Available for iPad, the app will allows users to develop apps with Apple’s programming language.
