LG has officially launched the G Pro 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series and the successor of the G Pro. It packs a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with 3.3 mm narrow bezel, powered by a 2.26 GHz  quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 2 last week France. The update is now rolling out for the Note 2 users in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 got the KitKat update in January and the Galaxy S4 got the update in February. The Galaxy Note 2  got Android 4.1.2 update back in December 2012 and got the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update directly, skipping Android 4.2, back in November last year. BLU Products has announced the Blu Life Pure XL, the company’s latest flagship smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS display from JDI with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a 2.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with custom skin on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, Largan M8 lens, 1/2.3inch sensor, full HD video recording and a 8-megapixel auto focus front-facing camera.

Sony Xperia E1 dual gets a price cut, now available for Rs. 8054

Sony launched the Xperia E1 dual along with the Xperia E1 in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 10,490. It went on sale at Rs. 9,999 and got a price cut to Rs. 9,490 few weeks back. Now the phone has received another price cut and is available for as low as Rs. 8,054 in India online. The E1 dual has a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Google releases Docs and Sheets apps for Android and iOS

Google has launched Docs and Sheets apps for Android and iOS.  These standalone apps will enable users to edit, create, and view files both on and offline. In addition, the company said that its will soon launch Slides, an app for editing PowerPoint-style presentations.

Xolo Q1010i Unboxing

Xolo had launched the Q1010 back in February, but they already came back with an updated model, the Xolo Q1010i, in April, with a slightly higher price tag of Rs. 13,499. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy K zoom, the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone with a 20.7-megapixel at an event in Singapore recently. We got some hands-on time with the camera phone and also managed to compare it with some phones, including the Galaxy S5. Next to the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy K zoom looks exactly similar on the front. The Galaxy K zoom has a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display and the S5 has a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen. Both these run on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the latest Touchwiz UI.
