Huawei Ascend P7 with 5-inch 1080p display, 13MP camera, 4G LTE announced

Huawei has finally announced the Ascend P7, the successor of last year’s Ascend P6 at an event in Paris, France. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS  touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, powered by Huawei’s own 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Huawei’s proprietary Image Signal Processor (ISP). Oppo Joy with 4-inch display launched in India for Rs. 8990

Oppo has launched Oppo Joy, the company’s latest budget Android smartphone in India. It was announced last month and packs a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA IPS sensitive touch screen with glove mode, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Color OS). It has a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It also has 3G connectivity and dual SIM support. Microsoft updates OneDrive for Android with file sharing and sorting, bigger thumbnails and more

Microsoft which recently renamed its cloud storage service as OneDrive has updated the Android app with several features. The latest 2.5 version of the app allows users to share files by inviting people, sending a link, or you can even send files to another app.

Xolo Q1010i Camera Samples

According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. This was first spotted by AndroidOS. Xolo Q1000 Opus gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat update

Xolo Q1000 Opus Android 4.4.2

Xolo has released Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Q1000 Opus that was launched back in December last year running Android 4.2.2. This is the company’s first smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series and also its first smartphone to get the KitKat update. The company had released several minor updates for the phone since the launch. It released a minor update back in January to fix camera bugs.

Android KitKat is now present on 8.5% of all global active devices, according to the data released on the Android Developers Dashboard The latest version of Google’s Operating System increased its share by 3.2% over last month when it stood at 5.3%.

Xolo Q900T with 4.7-inch HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor announced for Rs. 11999

Xolo has announced the Q900T, the latest smartphone in the Q CORE series and the successor of the Xolo Q900. It has a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display at 312 ppi with 178-degree wide viewing angle and a 2.5 D Edge-to-edge curved glass on the front, similar to Xolo X1000 that was released last year and the rear panel too looks similar to X1000. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor that is clear from ‘T’ in the model number of the phone. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), similar to most of the Xolo phones. Sony XPERIA Z2 Unboxing

Sony had announced the XPERIA Z2 back in February at MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Spain along with Samsung’s Galaxy S5. However due to certain production issues, the phone’s availability has been very scarce. It’s available in Singapore currently and it’s availability has been announced around Europe as well.
