Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) with 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 4G and Galaxy J1 mini announced
Samsung has introduced Galaxy J1 (2016) (SM-J120), it’s latest budget 4G smartphone in Russia and also Galaxy J1 mini (SM-J105), a budget 3G smartphone in Philippines and Russia (Via). The Galaxy J1 was first shown off in Dubai, while the Galaxy J1 mini surfaced in benchmarks last year. Both these phones come with dual SIM support. The Galaxy J1 (2016) also comes in 3G variant in some market.
LeEco Le 2 images and specs surface in new leak
LeEco Le 2, a possible successor of the popular Le 1s has surfaced in a new leak that shows images and specs of the phone. MyDrivers got a hold of these images that were leaked on Weibo. These images offer a glimpse of the phone from all angles.

Huawei P9 launch event scheduled for April 6 in London
Huawei has sent out press invites for the launch of its upcoming flagship P9 smartphone at an event in London on April 6th, as rumored earlier. Even though the invite doesn’t mention that it will unveil the P9, the two circles reveal dual rear cameras on the smartphone. It also has a tagline – Change the way you see the world, which again hints at the phone’s camera that is said to come with Leica lenses after its recent partnership. Opera Mini 15 for Android brings Video Boost to compress videos
Opera has updated its Opera Mini app for Android to version 15 that brings a new video boost feature that offers smoother video viewing using Opera’s video boost technology that reduces the size of video data, to lessen video loading time and combat buffering delays and also extend save data. The update also adds option to save files to the SD card in compatible phones, “Wi-Fi data savings” in the high data-savings settings for users on poor Wi-Fi connection and more.

Samsung just launched its flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones in India, as it had promised last week. Both these were announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week, pack a 5.1-inch Quad HD and 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on displays, respectively. These are powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC, run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), come with a 12-megapixel Dual pixel rear camera with LED flash, OIS and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Google rolls out March Android security update for Nexus devices
Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Nexus devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release. The Android version is still at Android 6.0.1, but the latest update fixes several critical issues, including issues in Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in Mediaserver and libvpx, Elevation of Privilege in Conscrypt, Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability in the Qualcomm Performance Component, MediaTek Wi-Fi Driver and in Keyring Component. Sony starts rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update for global Xperia Z5 series, Z3 Plus and Z4 tablet
Sony has started rolling out Android Marshmallow 6.0 update for a couple of devices. First up, the update is coming to the Japanese variants of the entire Xperia Z5 lineup which includes the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium. The update will soon follow the global variants in the coming weeks.
