Samsung first introduced the edge feature with the Galaxy Note Edge and a double edged feature with the S6 edge. Since then, they have announced an Edge variant alongside a flat screen variant up until the Note7. Now, it seems that the Galaxy S8 might not come with a flat screen variant either.

FAA asks passengers not to use the Samsung Galaxy Note7 when flying

A few days ago, it was rumoured that the FAA  (Federal Aviation Administration) may ban passengers from carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note7 on board flights. However, while a ban didn’t happen, they have released a few guidelines for the passengers carrying the Note7 on board a flight.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-G1600) its latest clamshell smartphone in China. It is the successor of the first Galaxy Folder smartphone that was introduced back in 2013. The new smartphone surfaced in benchmarks couple of months back that already confirmed most of the specifications such as 3.8-inch WVGA screen, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera. LG V20 vs Samsung Galaxy Note7 – What’s Different?

The LG V10 was probably one of the closest competitors to the Samsung Galaxy Note5 as well as the S6 edge+. The Note5 wasn’t made available in every region but at least the S6 edge+ was there to take its place in such regions. The V10 on the other hand too had limited availability but none to take its place. However, this time around, LG seems to be betting hard on the V20 especially since the V10 was received well and the fact that Samsung is still sorting out the battery issues with the Note7. LG V20 with Android 7.0, dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM announced

LG just announced V20, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the ‘V series’ at an event in San Francisco. It has a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Quantum display, a 2.1 second (160 x 1040 pixels) screen, similar to the V10, but this is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with LG UX 5.0+. It is also the first phone to use Google’s In Apps that helps users find content from built-in apps including contacts, emails, text messages and photos and user-installed apps. LG says that that second screen has improved in visibility with double the brightness and 50% larger font size compared to the V10.

It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support, 4G connectivity with VoLTE and has water repellent nano-coating. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for fast focus in just 0.2 seconds, Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
