Lenovo has launched the Vibe X3, it’s latest flagship smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was announced back in November last year, packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 21-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, 4K video recording and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. iBall has launched the Slide 3G Q45i, the company’s latest Android tablet in the Slide series. It has a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS screen, is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom x3 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has dual-SIM support, 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities.

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Kolkata after a month of launching its 4G services in Kerala. It was launched in Mysore earlier this month. It is based on 1800MHz FDD-LTE band 3 and is built on a strong fibre backhaul. Vodafone 4G is available in BBD Bag, Park Street, Alipore, Ballygunge, Salt Lake Sector 5, Airport and EM bypass in the circle and the roll-out will be completed across all parts of Kolkata by June 2016 in a phased manner.
