iBall has launched Andi5S Cobalt3, the latest smartphone in the Cobalt series. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display based on one glass solution (OGS) technology, 12-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Andi5T Cobalt2 that was launched back in March. The quad-core processor has been replaced by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor and it runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). LG L60 X-147 that went on sale online in India for Rs. 7,990 earlier this week is now listed on the official LG India website for Rs. 9000 (MRP). It has a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat), 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera and has dual SIM support with two normal SIM slots. After Amazon, Oppo India partners with Flipkart to sell its smartphones online

Oppo India has entered into a partnership with Flipkart to sell its smartphones, including its flagship Oppo Find 7 smartphone. Oppo tied up with Amazon India last month to sell its smartphones online. The Oppo Find 7, its current flagship was launched in India back in June for Rs. 37,990 and it launched the N1 Mini smartphone recently. All its smartphones that has been launched in India are available on Flipkart starting today, August 26th.

Swipe Technologies has launched Swipe Sense, the company new smartphone in its fablet series. It resembles China’s Elephone P2000 and the iberry Auxus Note 5.5 and comes with a fingerprint scanner similar to these smartphones. Specifications are different though. It has a 5.5-inch qHD screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 1S, a budget smartphone in India at the Mi 3 launch event last month, today at the Delhi event the company has announced that it would go on sale at Rs. 5999 on Flipkart starting September 2nd. It would be a flash sale similar to the Mi 3, and the registrations for the sale would begin starting today, August 26th at 6PM. Oppo N1 Mini Unboxing

Oppo launched the N1 Mini, a smaller variant of the Oppo N1 in India recently for Rs. 26,990. It has a 5-inch 720p screen, compared to the 5.9-inch 1080p screen on the Oppo N1. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, instead of Snapdragon 600 processor on the N1. Otherwise, it has exactly the same 13-megapixel swivel camera on the top, has ceramic back and aluminum frame, similar to the N1. Check out the unboxing below.

Today the online retailer has posted a teaser image of the tablet with Digiflip Pro and Intel brandings on the back. The image has the wordings Packed with features. Powered by intelligence. This clearly shows that it would be powered by Intel processor and come with new features that were not present in its Digiflip Pro XT 712 tablet. Xolo has announced that it would release Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for Xolo Q1200, Q900s, A500 Club, A600 and A550s IPS smartphones soon. It has not mentioned any timeframe like it did for its first set of devices. Xolo rolled out KitKat update for Q1010i, Q1010, Q700S and released Beta version of the Kitkat for Q3000 smartphone recently. Flipkart sends invites for Intel-powered tablet launch on August 27

Flipkart has just sent us an invite for a tablet launch in partnership with Intel. The invite reads What’s in red, grey, pearl white and blue? It will be powered by an Intel processor. It is clear that it’s going to be a tablet, looking from the invite. It has an earpiece on the top, so it is likely to come with voice calling capabilities.
